The Kings shutout the Stampede 3-0

The Skylands Kings' offense had a big night, peppering the Syracuse Stampede with 41 shots throughout the game, to go along with Evan Barghout's shutout. The Skylands Kings took the lead early in the second on a goal from Dylan Dinzik. Craig Scarpa did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Steven Ford delivered for his team with 2 assists.
During the second, Dinzik opened the scoring for Skylands with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 2:15 with a helper from defenseman Scarpa. Garrigan quickly followed with a goal at 3:37 with helpers from Ford and Thomas.
In the third, Scarpa put in a goal at 18:19 with assists from teammates Broz and Ford.

The Kings’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Barghout’s shutout, as he stopped all 26 of the shots he faced. Barghout’s counterpart, Steven, also had a big night, managing to stop 38 of 41, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the Skylands Kings’ record to (26-62-4-2)
