The Kings defeat the Wildcats 4-3

The Skylands Kings' offense had a big night, peppering the Jersey Shore Wildcats with 25 shots throughout the game. The Skylands Kings took the lead late in the third on a goal from Craig Garrigan. Lionel Landry did his part, adding 2 assists and Steven Ford delivered for his team with 3 assists.
In the first, Rowe opened the scoring for the Wildcats with a goal at 0:20 with helpers from his teammates Nolan and Plsek. Vanderhoff answered for the Kings with a goal at 12:54 with a helper from defenseman Sivek. Erickson answered for Jersey Shore with a goal at 16:14 with an assist from his linemate Ventura.
During the second period, Garrigan answered for Skylands with a goal at 4:12 with helpers from Ford and Gay. Garrigan netted a goal at 7:40 with assists from his linemates, Ford and Landry.
In the third, Allen answered for the Wildcats with a goal at 8:16 with helpers from his linemates, Schaljo and Gulawsky. Garrigan answered for the Kings with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 15:19 with assists from his linemates, Ford and Landry.

Skylands’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Barghout’s big night as he stopped 28 of the 31 shots he faced. On the other hand, Barghout’s counterpart, Skop, and the Wildcats’ defense did not have such a great night allowing 3 goals in 9 shots.
This win brings the Skylands Kings’ record to (24-60-4-2)
