Skylands Junior Kings’ Twins make College Commitment

The Skylands Junior Kings of the NA3HL congratulate Nick and Mike King on their commitment to William Paterson (ACHA D2) for the 2017-18 Season.

Both Mike and Nick were standout players for the Junior Kings in the 2016-17 Season, their senior year in high school.  “In watching both Mike and Nick you immediately notice their skating ability and hockey sense.  More importantly, we know that we are adding great kids to our program. Coaches have spoke highly about Mike and Nick’s work ethic, character, and attitude. We are excited to have Mike and Nick in our program and look forward to them thriving on the ice and in the classroom throughout their career at WPU.” remarked Joe Balance, Head Coach for the Pioneers.

In 2016-17, The William Paterson University Pioneers received an automatic bid to the national tournament for the 8th time in the past 9 seasons. After a 5th place finish nationally the past 2 seasons they competed trying to earn their first ever national championship. The championship ultimately went to New York University. King1King2
