Saccone Earns #1 Play of the Week!

Forward Dylan Saccone earns the top play of the week!

The Kings traveled to Massachusetts on Friday (1/11) for a cross division game against the Northeast Generals, a top team in the heavily contested Coastal Division. It was in this contest that the Kings leading goal scorer rose to the occasion. Dylan Saccone, standing 6’0 tall hailing from Deltona, FL, scored a dandy of a goal splitting the defense before going bar-down. With this tally Saccone has now amassed 19 goals and 18 assists in just 31 games.

Defenseman Trevor Christopher was able to see the whole play develop from the start. When asked about the goal Christopher said, “After pulling off that move and scoring like that, I just wanted to see him celebrate because I knew it was going to be a good one.” Forward James Clarke remarked, “It was the whole play that made that goal so special. To split the D and then go upstairs that quickly; it’s definitely a goal scorer’s goal… highlight-reel.”

This dazzling display of offensive creativity and a finishing touch was enough to garner Saccone the #1 play of the week. (1:24 in the video below)
